Summer's Here! | BAP June Newsletter
It’s Summer!
We hope you are enjoying graduations, holidays, family get-togethers, time out in nature, less traffic, and some time for self-care. We are open all summer (except July 4th), so come in and relax.
Vignesh is Here!
Vignesh will be covering for our acupuncturists as they take their summer vacations in June, July and August. If you haven't met Vignesh yet, you can learn about his journey from monasteries to community acupuncture here.
Getting comfy!
Stay cozy during your visit by bringing a blanket with you if you tend to get cold. Bring your ear buds and listen to your own music or audiobooks or podcasts or meditations—these can be especially helpful if you’re sensitive to the ambient noise of our clinic. Some people like to cover their eyes while they rest, using a bandana or scarf or sock over their eyes. 😴
Missed appointments
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation, (less than 24 hours notice) or a missed visit leaves a hole in the schedule that could have been filled by another patient in need and causes the clinic to lose income. As such, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Because it can be hard to fill your missed spot with another patient last minute, we charge a $30 fee to accommodate lost income.
This is one way we are able to keep our sliding scale as low as possible.
But I was sick! 🤧
For your health and the health of the community we ask that you cancel your appointment if you are ill. We understand that sometimes this will mean less than 24 hours notice and we will waive the fee in this case. However, we still require communication from you before your appointment.
If you are ill and simply do not show up to your appointment, this is considered a "no show" and your credit card on file will be charged $30. Thank you for understanding.
Bodyworker News
Dear BAP Community,
I hope this message finds you well and that you are feeling grounded as we move into the month of June. As we transition into summer, it’s a meaningful time to check in with your energy, reset, and align your intentions for the season ahead.
Reiki can help release tension and energetic blockages that may have built up over recent months. Whether you're seeking to restore balance, deepen your relaxation, or move forward with clarity, Reiki offers a gentle and supportive path for your well-being.
I am offering a monthly special in-person Reiki & Intuitive Energy Healing session for the BAP community on Sunday, June 15.
BAP Special: 45-minute session for $85
This one-on-one healing session is designed to support your unique energetic needs with care and intention.
If you'd like to receive support this month, you can reserve your session here:
Wishing you a peaceful and nourishing June. Take care, and I look forward to connecting with you.
